One of the biggest logistics players in Brazil, Multilog takes the innovation to the borders of Uruguaiana (RS) and Foz do Iguaçu (PR)
Accepting the standards of the health authorities to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and bringing innovation to the sector, the customs import procedures will be carried out by Multilog with original scanned documents. The measure was made possible with an update of the client portal model, called Genius, and will be applied by the logistics player as of Saturday (4/4) on the border of Uruguaiana (RS) and Foz do Iguaçu (PR).
Considered a major innovation in the logistics segment, it offers a practical and assertive solution to the needs of the borders. Implementation was possible after several studies and updating the customer relationship system, which allows virtual access to carry out customs import procedures and presentation of original documents for shipment.
"We anticipate customs needs and this time the market is experiencing, presenting solutions that few players can offer with agility and international quality standards", explains Juliane Wolff, Corporate Relations Manager at Multilog. According to Decree no. 10.278, which bases information on the Integrated Foreign Trade System (Siscomex), in order to be validated according to legal effects, the digital certificate must have all the mandatory requirements of the physical environment.
In addition to accepting scanned documents, Multilog started to pre-register Export Ticket Authorization in a virtual manner through the client portal, Genius, which is already considered a reference in innovation with several solutions for the sector. Another great innovation in the system was implemented to benefit the Santos (SP) unit with online registration of the Import Transfer Authorization (ATI), an activity that brought more agility and security to the procedure.
