Multilog adopted measures that go beyond the protocols indicated by health agencies
One of the largest logistics players in Brazil and an essential service for supplying the population, Multilog, received the Ensured Prevention seal, granted by Associação Brasileira de Transportadores Internacionais [Brazilian Association of International Transporters] (ABTI), which recognizes the commitment and dedication of companies that stop at nothing to combat Covid-19. With several units in the Southeastern and Southern regions of Brazil, the company received the seal due to the preventive strategies adopted to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and promote constant care for collaborators and society.
To ensure full functioning and offer to the community within the scope of the health agencies, Multilog has set up an Internal Crisis Prevention and Management Committee to implement and reinforce preventive measures such as expanding the disinfection processes, ventilation areas, the application of distance and constant inspection was carried out to ensure the practices. As recommended, administrative collaborators have been instructed to work from home since the first half of March, all necessary PPE has been made available, the flu vaccine has been given early, among other various actions.
In addition to adopting protocols that ensure the health and safety of all, the logistics player also carries out constant monitoring of its collaborators. “The most important thing right now is health. Everyone needs to be safe and aware of practices and routines. We want collaborators, family members and the community in general to be well so that we can overcome this situation together. We believe that everyone can do their part, adopt this new reality and be ensured quality of life”, Terezinha Santos explains, member of Multilog's Internal Crisis Prevention and Management Committee.
