Multilog becomes the first logistics operator in Brazil to receive DTA-S clearance at the Port of Santos (SP)

These are some of the main benefits of the Simplified Customs Transit Declaration (DTA-S). The Multilog logistics player became the first operator in Brazil to receive this authorization to carry out operations in the Port of Santos (SP) for its units in São Paulo, Campinas and Barueri.

Published by the Special Department of the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service of the 8th Tax Region in Ordinance no. 705, the qualification uses requirements and control of procedures carried out in the warehouses as a basis risk management. "This advantage is granted especially to players certified as an Authorized Economic Operator, which is based on international quality and safety criteria, and brings several advantages to logistical operations", says Herbert Zacatei, Southeastern and Border Business Development Manager at Multilog.
