The integrated Agency at Multilog will ensure more agility in processes, savings with collections and convenience with integrated logistics
With measures to combat Covid-19, many consumers have adopted or increased consumption through online channels. As disclosed by Associação Brasileira de Comércio Eletrônico [Brazilian association of electronic commerce] (Abcomm), some sectors registered an increase of over 100% in sales during the pandemic.
To meet this demand, Correios started to operate at the Multilog Distribution Center in Barueri (SP). The agency will act in an integrated manner with the logistics operator to ensure more agility in the processes, savings in collections and convenience.
The expectation is that e-commerce operations will have a reduction of up to 24 hours in lead time with the possibility of mailing the objects and delivering them on the same day. Another advantage is the reduced collection cost, since a single vehicle can be used from the time it leaves the Distribution Center to delivery.
