Another great example that the logistics process can be a great ally in the fight against Coronavirus (Covid-19). 275 thousand personal protective masks imported from China were cleared and released on an emergency basis at Multilog´s CLIA in Mooca, a reference logistics operator in Brazil. The entire process took just one hour and 15 minutes, allowing the cargo to reach its destination quickly.
With the legal procedures carried out, the Customs of the Internal Revenue Service in São Paulo was able to quickly proceed with forwarding the cargo to the distributors and, thus ensure its arrival at the health centers and other units.
Multilog has already managed to promote several innovative actions and process adaptations to ensure adequate service to clients, following all guidelines to combat the pandemic. Among the main measures are implementations on the client portal, GENIUS, such as receiving digitized official documents, pre-registration of the Export Ticket Authorization online at the borders, implementation of the digital register of the Import Transfer Authorization (ATI) in Santos, in addition to release operations with great agility for cargo in the health segment.
