The cargo left Uruguay and clearance was carried out in Jaguarão (RS)
The logistical process has become a great ally in the fight against Coronavirus (Covid-19). One of the biggest players in Brazil, Multilog, carried out procedures to quickly release 55 thousand medications that will be used in hospitals in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. The cargo from the Ministry of Health left Uruguay and customs clearance was carried out at the Dry Port in Jaguarão (RS), a Multilog unit suitable for receiving medications, with a refrigerated area and integrated logistics. Afterwards, the cargo was transported by the Brazilian Army.
In order to ensure the offer of essential products, supply for society and security for everyone, in recent months Multiloghas brought innovation to the services provided at all its units in the Southern and Southeastern region of Brazil. Among the new proposals is remote cargo checking, receiving official digitized documents and virtually pre-registering Export Entry Authorization at borders, among many other measures. In addition, it adopted prevention and care strategies that have become a national reference and, therefore, the player received the Ensured Prevention seal, granted by Associação Brasileira de Transportadores Internacionais [Brazilian Association of International Transporters] (ABTI).
